$366 million Powerball® Jackpot Ticket Purchased in Middlebury

Berlin, VT, June 30, 2022-- Vermont Lottery officials announced today that a $366,700,000 Powerball jackpot ticket had been sold at the Middlebury Short Stop, a retailer within the Jolley chain. This is Vermont’s first ever Powerball Jackpot winner.

The winning ticket matched five out of five numbers and the Powerball number. Wednesday’s winning numbers were 08, 40, 49, 58, 63 and the Powerball was 14.

“The Vermont Lottery is thrilled to have our first ever Powerball Jackpot winner in the state” said Andrew Collier, Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Liquor and Lottery than runs the Vermont Lottery for the state. “This is an exciting win for Vermont lottery players, the education fund, and the state as a whole.”

All Vermont Lottery agents receive an extra commission for all tickets sold in their stores that win $500 or more so the Middlebury Short Stop will benefit, as well. The Middlebury Shop Stop has been a Vermont Lottery agent since 1993.

“You can’t win if you don’t play, it’s good to see someone have a Jolley day. Remember Jolley the home of the daily smile” said Shawn Bartlett, General Manager of Jolley Associates
